Happy Tuesday y’all! There is nothing better than chocolate chip banana bread right? I’m going to make this post quick and easy just like this recipe was! I found this recipe from The Suburban Mom and it was perfection. So let’s get started!
- 3 – 4 ripe bananas, mashed
- 1½ cup flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- ½ teaspoon baking powder
- pinch of salt
- 5 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- ½ cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 egg
- 1 cup chocolate chips
Okay start off by Preheating your oven to 350 degrees!
In a KitchenAid or large bowl mix the melted butter and brown sugar until sugar is dissolved.
Mash bananas with a fork and then beat in the egg and vanilla extract with your butter and sugar combination.
In another bowl mix together flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
Then combine wet dry mixtures!
Pour the batter into a greased loaf pan and top the loaf with as many chocolate chips as your heart desires.
*I use more chocolate chips than the recipe calls for sometimes. It depends on the day but yesterday I was feeling like 50% bananas and 50% chocolate chips. No shame.*
Bake for 45 minutes. Allow bread to cool, then it will slip right out of the pan!
Hope you loved this as much as we did! Have a great rest of your week. Happy baking!
